Detail estimate to find out the cost of the item how much is required

However, there are usually three things to consider in the estimation
1) Volume
2) Area
3) Length
1) Volume is usually calculated as follows
A. Excavation or filling of soil
b. Concrete
a) Cement Concrete,
b) R. C. C.
c. Brick work (except brick saling)
d. woodwork
2) Area which has to be calculated
A. White wash
b. Color work
c. Brick walling
d. Plastering
e. Damp proof course
3) Length
Usually the weight of the rod is calculated by determining the length of the rod. And. C. C. The rod is not straight. Rods are usually in some special positions like hook, crank, lap etc. So there are several things to know before determining the rod length, which is commonly used in rod estimation.
Length of hook = 12 X diameter of rod = 12d
Considering 450 crank, additional rod for crank = 0.42 x (effective depth) = 0.42d
Lapping length
a) In case of compression = 45d
b) In case of tension = 60d
We can use the table below to estimate rod length.
Diameter of Rod (mm) Weight/ Meter Cross Sectional Area (sq cm)
6 mm 0.222 0.283
8 mm 0.395 0.503
10 mm 0.616 0.785
12 mm 0.888 1.131
14mm 1.208 1.539
16 mm 1.579 2.011
18 mm 2.000 2.545
20 mm 2.466 3.142
22 mm 2.983 3.801
25 mm 2.854 3.909
28 mm 4.835 6.158
32 mm 6.313 8.042
