Real-world experience of site visits

1/ It must be confirmed whether there are enough workers on the site.

2/ What is the quantity of materials required for painting work or not? Dalai machinery mixing machine vaviretor machine different size nozzle patta rope waste etc.

3/ To walk on the rod when the wood is laid so that the workers do not walk on it. The rod coverings will not move.

4/ Ensuring where workers will finish their work during lunch time.

5/ Ensuring that there is sufficient amount of water on the site.

6/ Whether there is sufficient quantity of polythene or not.

7/ The entire slab should be soaked with water before the slab is laid

8/If there is any house next to the slab, it should be fenced with net on that side.

9/ Slabs are leveled in the form of footings firstly at the place of columns and then the work is progressed along the beams.

10/ It is better to compact the entire slab with a vaviretor.

11/ The vaviretor of the slab should be done in such a way that the concrete enters before the bottom layer takes off.

12/ During concreting of beam-column joint, care should be taken to concretize the column part first.

13/ Concrete should not be thrown from the head, it causes segregation. Concrete should be poured from 1 m or 1.5 m.

14/ If temporary welding work is stopped anywhere in beam and column. In that case, verticals should be closed with stopper.

15/ It should be noted whether the casting ratio is correct or not.

16/ It is better to give grouting of the beam column joint, it will make the joint better.

17/ And check whether the slab is clean or not.

# After removing the beam rods, the slab rod binding has to be done. The checks we will do on the beam are:

1/ Is the dia of our rod correct as per the design?

2/ Is the lapping of the beam rod correct or not? I have a video in this group about where to give the lapping of the beam. If you want, you can watch it.

3/ The stirrup hooks are 6d which is 3", for 10mm rod, which is given at 135° is it ok?

4/ Whether 25mm rod piece is used as beam separator or not.

5/ Whether beam ends or hooks are kept up to 10d or 6" or not.

6/ Beam covering 1.5" is OK or not.

7/ The depth and width of the beam should be checked. Whether it is according to the design or not.

8/ Whether the stirrups are placed on one side of the hook or not.

9/ It should be confirmed whether the beam is free from the roof leak or not.

10/ Check whether the rod of the beam is passed through the rod of the column or not.

#Slaber_Check_List :

1/ After lowering the bar of the beam rod, it has to be marked on the Sutter of the slab to install the rod.

2/ Covering of bottom rod of slab should be 1.5" and covering of top rod should be 3"/4" enough clear cover should be used. And coverings should be connected to rods with No. 24 GI wire.

3/ If steel sheet is used as covering, it should be used between the top and bottom rods, if it is placed close to the shutter, water will come in contact with the slab and corrode it.

4/ Check whether the speech of crack to crank bar is correct or not and check whether the distance of extra top is correct or not Crack bar L/4 & extra top L/3 should be checked or not.

5/ Covering block should be used for speech so that the top rod of the slab does not stick to the beam rod.

6/ Corner reinforcement should be checked whether it is correct or not. Because the slab's exeteria corner diplexion is above peri peri and below diagonal crack forms. If it is an upper slab, it will leak rainwater and if it is an inner slab, bathroom water will leak.

7/ When the rod binding is completed, the slab should be leveled.

8/ According to the electrical drawing, the conduit pipes should be placed between the top and bottom rods.

9/ And check whether the slab is clean or not leak free.
